A BFF is in need…. not thirsty

Hi people, I have a couple of questions for you. Well, it will end up to be more than a few. How do you find a date in your fifties? One of my bff’s has been in my world since the last century. Huey Lewis and the News, Hall and Oates and Living Colour were all chart toppers, so if you have no idea what that means; here’s a clue, no computers and no Google. For those of you, who know and loved that era and are now chuckling while thinking about getting your box of cassettes from Columbia House; go to YouTube and start listening to your faves. Yes, I digressed, but that’s what happens when you are of a certain advanced age.

Well, let’s call this bff, W. W is a talented, fit, spiritual, funny and beautiful person (original and current cisgender is female). Why is she single? Well, after a couple of divorces and two children (older, out of the house, live in a different state), she is seeking a relationship with a man (original and current cisgender is male), who is not flexin and thirsty.

W is now on dating apps. She has exhausted the dating sites during their free weekends or free business model. Has she met men from these sites? Yes, she has. Have they been the creme de la creme? HELL TO THE NO! Most of them had issues: missing teeth, no etiquette, photos filtered from Olan Mills, lies about their height, weight, divorce, child(ren), doesn’t know which fork to use because they eat in their vehicle etc. I initially attributed these balls of lint to using free dating sites, but then W decided to try the apps.
