Hey streaming services, Why are you controlling my time and stifling my binge watching?
It started with Ozark on Netflix. Yada yada yada pandemic. Yada yada yada awards season. My inability to binge watch the show impacted my thoughts about the show. I thought I didn’t like it. The momentum of the show was interrupted. I rallied, researched and recovered. I discovered it wasn’t me, it was Netflix. They stifled my ability to binge watch by splitting up the last season. Netflix used kryptonite to neutralize itself and now I know it’s no longer a specialty item. Now Netflix is just a regular pseudo-network streaming television channel. It runs ads with my paid subscription.
It’s happening again on freevee with my new favorite show, Bosch:Legacy. freevee is the rebranded name of the formerly known IMDbTV. It’s currently a free streaming service owned by Amazon. Bosch the origin series originally streamed on Amazon Prime and is a totally binge worthy show, starring Titus Welliver. Without spoilers, it is about cops, crime and family. A great series with seven seasons that you can watch on your own time frame. I enjoyed my ability to binge watch Bosch.
