Melanin for the WIN
It’s February and you know what that means… Not just the shade or not from that Pennsylvania road critter, but it’s Black History Month. The shortest month of the year, with a bonus day this leap year.
I would appreciate this year that you keep your eye rolls to a minimum. Yes, I know you had no knowledge that black people have cultural differences, such as salt goes into macaroni salad. You have never heard about the one drop rule and what is ashy? There is a difference between mustard greens, collard greens and kale. Who are The Muse Brothers. What do the colors black, green and red symbolize? What is the meaning of black eyed peas and rice? What was Black Wall Street? And can we end the semantic game of being a slave and being enslaved? Why you choose to remain uninformed since it would take using Google as a verb and reading the resulting paragraph and page is mystifying.
Your eye roll signals your content with being blissfully ignorant and frankly, it makes me uncomfortable. Thank you for your efforts in evaporating ignorance.
