Roll those Coins
I made thirty dollars today, engaged my brain with fine motor coordination. Weather changes or actual change of season equals retiring the summer and early fall clothes and breaking out the winter gear. I usually forget, but this time I checked the pockets of summer coats and pants. A few clean dollar bills and some coins as fresh booty; about three dollars in coins and four dollar bills. The winter coats were full of coins almost totaling five dollars and a ten dollar bill.
My purse yielded the mother lode. I have new muscles from all that change I was carrying. Lots of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Not one two dollar bill or Susan B. Anthony in the whole pile. I had to search and find the coin wrappers. They were in their safe place and I could not remember the hidden space. I found the wrappers in two hours, which is a new record for safe place acquisitions. I sat, stacked and rolled coins for a few hours. It was relaxing and fruitful. My bank is happy with the transaction and so will the retailers. Let’s end the coin shortage today.
