Congratulations to Miss Amber Riley on winning The Masked Singer and adding another trophy to her wall of awards. Amber is one of the many stand out performers to emerge from Glee, the 2009–2015 television show. Amber’s singing and acting talents were fierce and fiery on the show. She is a riveting presence and a pleasure to watch. She was masked as a Harp on The Masked Singer and I don’t know how the judges didn’t know it was Amber.

Amber interpreted other people’s songs, such as John Mayer, Lizzo and Whitney Houston with her stylish vocal range. It was a pleasure to know that all of her hard work has resulted in winning another competitive reality show. She was the first Black woman to win Dancing with the Stars with dance partner Derek Hough in 2013. Amber starred as Effie White in Dreamgirls staged and performed in London’s West End. Amber won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a musical.

Hey Broadway, holla at Amber. Hey Grammy Awards, add Amber to the Whitney Houston tribute with Jennifer Lopez. Hey Hollywood, give Amber a call. Standing ovation to Miss Amber Patrice Riley.
