Shoutout to Zo Williams
It’s early in Black History Month and a boxing match presented itself. It was an epic spectacle. In the ring were two alphas: Zo Williams and Corey Holcomb. These gentlemen represent history, the hood, entrepreneurship, trash talk, heterosexuality, comedy and relationships.
Zo is smooth, cerebral and impactful. Corey is brash, bold and humorous. They have had a friendship that started years ago on the Foxxhole radio show with Jamie Foxx. Their friendship has thrived and spawned the 5150 show, The Zo What Morning Show, Man-sions/V.O.R Voice of Reason amongst others. There have been a cast of characters that have exited stage right: Dr. Mark Goulston and Bobby Glanton-Smith. Some are mainstays: Darlene Ortiz and Geoff Brown. Zo and Corey were always on their side of the seesaw. They kept it moving, funny and mostly balanced. Through all the moves, bad sounds, sketchy equipment, staffing changes, they were the foundation blocks that kept the house solid and in order. This rift became a crevasse between the two and the catalysts are Aries Spears and Grady.
This lava has been flowing and burning various platforms with friends and fans commenting and aligned with their guy; defending him or calling him out. Corey Holcomb pulled a Dirty Harry and use his big gun and called out fellow comedian Grady on his 5150 show. Corey does not mince words and it was on. Zo and Grady are friends…
