So, I stayed up, way past and I do mean way past my bedtime to watch Saturday Night Live. It was hosted by the comedic legend Eddie Murphy and musical guest was Lizzo. Let’s start with Lizzo.

Lizzo is talented, beautiful and her songs are catchy and fun. <Spoiler Alerts> She had voluptuous women as her back up dancers and they were on point. I didn’t love her Gucci Game of Thrones outfit, but I did love her tuxedo outfit with the silver back which eluded to being see through. Lizzo feeds the bear while she pokes it. I don’t care if she twerks while showing her ample gluteous maximus, but she sat on those chairs at the Lakers game without a barrier between germs, popcorn kernels, snot, dried soda etc. I could keep going, but I’m starting to dry heave. I’ve been in plenty of auditoriums and arenas and every seat does not get a daily cleanse. Hey, Lizzo, I suggest you slow the antics and ramp up your talent.

Now to the main event, Eddie Murphy.

Eddie, I feel that I know you personally, that’s why I stayed up to support my friend. The last time Eddie was on the show, it was to celebrate SNL’s 40th anniversary. It’s been 35 years since Eddie has been on the show and last night he was the host. Since I’m a woman of a certain age, I’ve watched and howled at Eddie giving his seemingly effortless gift of humor wearing red leather,a t-shirt or costumes. He has movies that you can watch with everyone in the family and some you want to watch to relive the first time you saw it. At Thanksgiving, we were talking about Delirious and how the…
